2005-08-11 [birdsong]: Lovely lovely! *decides she Would like it in Scottland!*
2005-08-11 [Delladreing]: thank you :D hehe
2005-08-18 [Stephen]: Dela, you have excellent photos. You did are great job, and they all look wonderful!
2005-08-18 [Delladreing]: aww thank you :D
2005-08-18 [Stephen]: You're very welcome. I wish I were half as talented as you are.
2005-08-18 [Delladreing]: *blushes* thank you again :)
2005-08-18 [Stephen]: You're welcome, once again. :D
2005-08-23 [Stephen]: Why did you take the flower off?
2005-08-23 [Delladreing]: oh i am rearranging my pages, its all coming back
2005-08-23 [Stephen]: Oh, good :D
2005-08-23 [Delladreing]: yes im putting things in order lol
2005-08-23 [Stephen]: WOW! Big changes!
2005-08-23 [Delladreing]: yup
2005-08-23 [Stephen]: looks nice!
2005-08-23 [Delladreing]: thank you
2005-08-23 [Stephen]: Welcome!
2005-08-23 [Delladreing]: :)
2005-08-23 [Stephen]: Someone said your pictures are not professional?
2005-08-23 [Delladreing]: I believe they called them "trite" which is not a very nice thing to say to someone. Especially when you do not know them nor is their opinion asked for or welcome.
2005-08-23 [Stephen]: The asshole -.- I like the pictures, I think they are very nice and pretty.
2005-09-01 [Delladreing]: Thank you love
2005-09-02 [Stephen]: No problem. :)
2005-09-29 [Skydancer]: Really quite marvelous imagery. You certainly have an eye for interesting and story telling pictures.
2005-09-29 [Delladreing]: thank you [Skydancer] :) I actually considered submitting one of them to the recent photography competition with relevance to an old Scottish myth here and a short story of my own...however I've gotten carried away with the story so I wont be doing that now lol
2005-10-07 [syagre]: Once I had been a mere french tourist on the West Highland way... too bad it was some crappy disposable camera...
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: :o not many people know the west highland way, i live at the very start of it :)
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: i need to get some photos of it
2005-10-07 [syagre]: just been studying a year in Glasgow, I had a few occasions for wandering... I just love these sights of Glencoe... your first pics remind me of the Mugdock Park, near Milngavie
2005-10-07 [syagre]: but I've been to Campsie, too
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: *nods* well some of them are from mugdock park, i usually walk up when i have free time and my friends live at the Campsies so I am usually up there too.
2005-10-07 [syagre]: I really like this page, not only 'cause I find your photos of good quality, but also because the places mean something, to me
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: :D i am glad then, because all of these places have meaning to me too, not many people have any connection with them, especially not anyone on here.
2005-10-07 [syagre]: *nods* that's somehow the problem when you want to display photos : most of the time, people cannot feel the same things as you at the sight of them, unless they've been there too
2005-10-07 [syagre]: by the way, have you entered the ET photograph competition ?
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: *nods* hehe i'm still quite stunned that someone knew where abouts they were taken, even people here in Scotland cant identify them, and some people live realy near here (like in Glasgow itself) and have no idea where here is. Ask them where the start of the West Highland Way is and they stare at you like you have grown a second head o.O
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: No I haven't, I don't normally like to enter my work in things, my work tends to be...personal, and I sometimes wonder if they would lease meaning if i "whored them out" as it were.
2005-10-07 [syagre]: Yep, I've been really surprised with that. Most of scottish people I've met where meaning that I had seen much more of Scotland than they did themselves... which I can't understand : your country has such marvelous places (sometimes rough, like the Highlands, but still)...
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: Tell me about it lol, my friend Robert talked me into a hiking trip ages ago, my feet still have blisters >.<, but yes I know I am lucky to live here. I see so many places that are barren and flat with no view and then I look out my window and can see the hills over the tops of the houses. I love it here.
2005-10-07 [syagre]: I'm a bit surprised of your feeling about "whoring your pics out"... I personaly take it as an additional occasion to share the sights I enjoy...
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: Yes..but its hard to explain I suppose, some of the places are very important to me, I sometimes wonder if I got given a badge for them, as though they were "just a pretty picture" if it would take away from their meaning to me. Its silly I know, but its the way I feel at times.
2005-10-07 [syagre]: Hehe, once i did some mad trip : I've walked the West Highland Way from Bridge of Orchy to Fort William within a day and a half... it took me about 2 weeks to recover !
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: ...a day and a half?! Good God man! o.O thats insanity.
2005-10-07 [syagre]: It was just my last occasion for a walk in Scotland (my time in Scotland ended a week later), I couldn't resist.... by the way, the pics I've put in the comments are taken from that trip
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: Ah I see...but even so...a day and a half! As used to the Way as I am that would have killed me outright.
2005-10-07 [syagre]: I admit I must have lost a handful of neurones before deciding of this journey ! Ah, otherwise, which other places are you used to wandering around ?
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: Well I am usually up at Glencoe visting either friends or family. Loch Lomond shores too, there are some spectacular views there. Although I tend to get the train :p, no way I could walk to there lol, but I need to get some photos of there soon before winter sets in completely.
2005-10-07 [syagre]: I've been there, those places are briliant ! Glencoe's definitely among my favs', and I really like around the Loch Lomond. Once I tried to bathe in it, but no way, in april it's definitely too cold ! I've been to Ben Lomond, too (by foggy weather, alas...). Anyway I'd be looking forward to seeing these new pics of yours
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: Hehe yes, bathing in Lomond is not a good idea at that time of year. I went out on a boat about that time, put my hand in the water and thought I was going to lose my fingers lol. And Ben Lomond is another place I need to get photos of :p thank you for reminding me
2005-10-07 [syagre]: What else ? Should you take a panoramic photo set from Arthur's Seat, in Edinburgh ?
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: ...I actually thought I might have that somewhere...hm
2005-10-07 [syagre]: Uh, unfortunately I've missed Hogmanay. I can't see how it'd look like... I should wait for your pics then ! Otherwise, have you got pics from the islands, like Aran, Mull or the Hebrides ? I wish i could have been there...
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: Hmm I might have some, but they are not taken by me, if I have any they will be in my fathers workshop. And will be about 30 years old lol. My parents used to travel a lot before I was born. I will maybe look for more photos later, but not tonight, I am suddering from flu, and as you can imagine, sorting through over 200 photos is not what I want to be doing just now ;)
2005-10-07 [syagre]: *laugh* ny bother, pal ! Personaly, I'm off to bed very soon... got to help a friend for some moving-in about 400 miles away...
2005-10-07 [syagre]: ...until then, I'm going to give you a pic from my "home place", the Pyrenees...
2005-10-07 [syagre]: Here it is... the Lake of Opal, I hope you'll enjoy
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: Ekk, have fun wi that one then ;) amd thank you, its quite beautiful :)
2005-10-07 [syagre]: You're welcome *bows*.... read you sometime later, maybe when i'm back to wander around this page ! *waves hand*
2005-10-07 [Delladreing]: *waves* I'll look forward to it :)
2005-10-10 [Maurer's conclusions]: Yarr, I've been to Glencoe, where all those people got murdered under trust. Nice place, when its not raining too hard.
2005-10-10 [Delladreing]: *nod nod*
2005-10-10 [Maurer's conclusions]: Then again, that goes for all of the places we walked through.
2005-10-10 [Delladreing]: In Scotland thats a given ;)
2006-01-09 [windowframe]: *hauntage*
2006-01-09 [Delladreing]: here we go
2006-10-11 [Wulf Skjaldr]: Yay! Pretty pictures of plants and animals and the like! Scottish ones. ^_^
2006-10-11 [Wulf Skjaldr]: Seriously though Dela, I like these. Amateur or whatever, they give me great happiness to look at. :)
2006-10-11 [Delladreing]: Thank you Marten, I'm glad you like them :)
I'll be doing some more this year, Scotland in Winter :D
2006-10-13 [The Blood Angel]: Nice stuff :p
2006-10-13 [Delladreing]: Thanks :)
2007-07-30 [Tickle Me Emo]: Your photos are very stunning! I was just wondering, though, if the Loch Lomond you took pictures of was the same as the one in the song of the same title.
2007-07-30 [Delladreing]: Thank you, and yup it sure is :)
2007-12-28 [Aldalome]: the photo's you made are beautiful, I really like them a lot.
2007-12-28 [Delladreing]: Thank you very much :)
